$play is an ERC20 token that can be bought, sold & traded. Apart from numerous benefits, one of its main features is to stake the token in the staking pool. The $play utility token is central to the platform, functioning as a means of access to extended functionality and services. Users are required to perform certain actions on the platform—such as sharing data, providing feedback, commenting, and creating posts—that contribute to the development of the PLAY community to receive rewards. Dynamic Staking & Engagement
STAKING & ENGAGMENT
To maintain price stability of the $play token, staking $play on the platform is introduced as a feature on the platform. The $play token will utilise a Dynamic Staking model in which users can choose how long they stake their tokens.
When users stake $play, a PlayStakeScore (PSS) will be calculated based on the factor of $play Staked and Days locked. For e.g. 3,000 $play staked for 100 Days would equal 300,000 PSS which in return will increase your SLS and your Leaderboard ranking. With that you will access a bigger portion of the reward pool based on your now (boosted) Leaderboard Rank.

Early withdrawal of staked $play tokens will incur a withdrawal penalty fee of 0.05% per day left of the total $play tokens staked. Hence, users are encouraged to hold their $play tokens for the stake duration and gain the maximum PAM points allotted. When users engage in activities on the PLAY platform, they will allot PAM points, the amount allotted can be further boosted if the user has $play staked during the allotment period. Additionally, staking $play also extends the expiry date of PAM points, allowing the user more time to accumulate and spend PAM points as well as increase their Social Leaderboard Score. This system ensures that users are motivated to stake for longer periods, thus contributing positively to the platform and increasing $play token price stability.
